Shira Z. Photography – Long Island, NY Newborn, Baby, Child, & Family Photographer bio picture
  • Welcome to my blog! I'm Shira, I'm a wife, and mom to 2 gorgeous little girls. I love to photograph spontaneous, adventurous families being carefree! I want you to let your children be themselves and have fun. Cuddle and kiss them as much as possible so I can capture the love you all have for each other!

Please take a look at around the blog and contact me with any questions.  My most recent work can be found here and on my facebook page. I'll also be posting updates, promotions, and a bunch of photos of my girls :)   So feel free to check in every once in a while to see what I've been up to!  There's a comment section below each post where you can leave any questions, or thoughts on what you see. I'd love to hear from you!

Little Brother | Long Island Newborn Photographer | Shira Z. Photography

I couldn’t get over how much this little guy looks like his brother when he was born, only with lighter hair. They are both gorgeous! I was so excited to have them in my studio and see the family again. Mom and I are on similar baby schedules except she’s having boys and I’m having girls! He was born just days before (or after – I forget) his big brothers 3rd birthday. I think the birthday boy was pretty happy with his gift! Lets hope Talia feels the same way when her present comes;)

I just want to kiss those lips!I always love the details shots…

Big brother was sooo good with him, I was so happy we could get these shots of them together.

Joe & Katina’s Wedding | Long Island Wedding Photographer | Shira Z Photography

Here is another awesome wedding I photographed back in November (sorry I’m still a few weddings behind on the blog). I had not seen Katina since high school back when we used to work together waitressing at Middle Bay Country Club!  I was honored when she told me she followed my work and really wanted me to photograph her wedding day! It was so great to see her again and see how happy Joe makes her (and vice versa).

They got married on a beautiful Fall day! As usual I had a hard time narrowing down which images to post …

The light was so gorgeous outside the church, I really love these next few.

It was only fitting that Katina’s twin sister caught the bouquet!
