  • Welcome to my blog! I'm Shira, I'm a wife, and mom to 2 gorgeous little girls. I love to photograph spontaneous, adventurous families being carefree! I want you to let your children be themselves and have fun. Cuddle and kiss them as much as possible so I can capture the love you all have for each other!

Please take a look at around the blog and contact me with any questions.  My most recent work can be found here and on my facebook page. I'll also be posting updates, promotions, and a bunch of photos of my girls :)   So feel free to check in every once in a while to see what I've been up to!  There's a comment section below each post where you can leave any questions, or thoughts on what you see. I'd love to hear from you!

Pretty Lily | Long Island Newborn Photographer | Shira Z. Photography

I love newborns!! Especially when they sleep well for me  ;) Lily was born a few weeks early so I was a little nervous that by the time she came home she’d be wide awake during her session but she did great. So sweet and sleepy and adorable.                                                                                                        Pretty Lily!

A Boy! | Long Island Maternity Photographer | Shira Z. Photography

I have so much to share from this past week but wanted to make sure to get these sessions up on the blog first because I love them. We did these first few maternity shots in the studio just a week or two before Mom gave birth to a little boy! I still can’t believe it was a boy for some reason!

The 2nd shot here cracks me up, she just  stuck herself right in between Mom and Dad.

Inspired by Stephanie of Bellini Portraits. I am hoping to get a similar shot of Talia and I before this baby comes!

With her new little brother!! <3
I really love these family shots…

Looking forward to seeing how much these guys have grown in 6 months!!

Time Flies! | Long Island Baby Photographer | Shira Z. Photography

It’s been a year since I last saw this cutie. He was such a good baby and luckily that hasn’t changed. He has the most gorgeous smile and lips! I had a great time playing with him in the studio. Here he is at just a few days old…

And here he is 1 year later! Isn’t he the cutest little cowboy??

baby feet <3

I’m in love with how he is looking up at his Daddy in the second photo here…He did not enjoy getting messy! lol.

Happy Birthday cutie! Hope to see you and your parents again soon!!
