Love | Long Island Children’s Photographer | Shira Z. Photography

I love when Mom and Dad can be all mushy with their children. When they can let go and kiss and hug them during a shoot as if no one is watching. That’s what I want to photograph. The emotions, the connection, the love, there is nothing better  :)

Happy birthday sweet girl!!

Sisters | Long Island Newborn Photographer | Shira Z. Photography

This was my first newborn shoot after my own daughter’s (which I still need to blog!). It was another sweet little girl with a big sister about Talia’s age! I photographed big sis as a newborn almost 3 years ago and was so happy to be able to photograph her with her new little sister!

Chad & Emily | New York City Engagement Photographer | Shira Z. Photography

I’m still on maternity leave but I haven’t blogged in a while so I wanted to get something up here ASAP.  I thought Chad and Emily’s engagement session would be a good place to start since they were just married this past weekend! They were waiting a long time for their big day, I believe they were engaged for about 3 years! They met at a friends wedding where they were both in the wedding party, I love that. They are so perfect together, I couldn’t be happier for them!!

I had a lot of fun following them around the city. We started on the streets of the Meat Packing district, went up to the High Line, took a cab to one of their favorite bakery’s, and then down to the subway for one last shot. Big thanks to Angela of Angela Marshall Photography for helping me out!!
