Stephany & Erik Engagement Session | Long Beach, NY | Long Island Wedding Photographer

Stephany and I went to high school and college together and even though we had different groups of friends I was always happy to run into her (usually at the bars or dining hall;))  Years after college and we are both living in Long Beach and next month I’m photographing her wedding! crazy!

We did their engagement session in Long Beach, where they met and now live.  They pull up in Erik’s hot little convertible and Stephany is wearing her bright blue shoes, awesome. They both told me they were nervous about the shoot but I think they got over it in less than a minute, they were pros.  I had a lot of fun photographing them all over town and I’m now even more excited to photograph their wedding day!

This shot cracks me up. Its in front of the bar where they met, so cute.

This little guy has the greatest head of hair!!! My daughter had a ton of hair when she was born but it was nothing like this. I’ve never seen such thick, even hair on a newborn. Little A was a pleasure to photograph and I had a great time getting to know his Mommy. I was happy I was able to try out my new bed prop with him and he loved it. We wanted to surprise Dad with a few photos of A with his Mets Jersey but he came home from work before we got to it!!  I’m not sure but by the looks of this photo I think their little man might be a Yankees fan;)

My daughter is just about 11 months. Taking photos of her is nearly impossible without another hand to help out. I was all excited to try out my new pettiskirt on her, oh well better luck with someone elses child hopefully! It was also pretty windy as you can tell by her hair. I managed to get a few cute ones even though there are no real smiles. That’s what I get for taking her too close to nap time. This was her 2nd time in the sand and she loves it. It’s almost like we keep her in a cage at home or something the way she crawls and crawls all over. Anyway here are a few photos of my cutie pie, enjoy!
