Shira Z Photography Blog bio picture
  • Welcome to my blog! I'm Shira, I'm a wife and mom to 2 gorgeous little girls. I love to photograph spontaneous, adventurous families being carefree! I want you to let your children be themselves and have fun. Cuddle and kiss them as much as possible so I can capture the love you all have for each other!

Please take a look at around the blog and contact me with any questions.  My most recent work can be found here and on my facebook page. I'll also be posting updates, promotions, and tons of photos of my daughters :)   So feel free to check in every once in a while to see what I've been up to!  There's a comment section below each post where you can leave any questions, or thoughts on what you see. I'd love to hear from you!

A Twins Baptism | Long Island Event Photographer | Shira Z Photography

These are two lucky little boys. Every time I looked at them someone was hovering over them and kissing them. They had a really beautiful Christening and the Priest was awesome! Totally laid back and really funny. The church got some great light and they had it all to themselves! Mom was so emotional she almost had me crying! I’m so glad I could be there to capture these special moments…

the very proud Grandparents and Parents…

and the Godparents!

They were so good through the whole ceremony!

love the bubbles!

Last But Not Least! | New York City Baby Photographer | Shira Z Photography

This was my last session of 2010! Of course I still have a bunch of sessions I never got around to blogging!! Now that the holiday season is over I’m hoping to start posting some of them. I will add ‘blog more often’ to my list of new years resolutions. Along with, get back in shape, read more, and take more photos for fun. Hopefully I will follow through with at least one of them!!

So here is my last session of the year. A beautiful, (hungry) little 3 month old. Seriously I think she ate throughout most of the session lol. Fine with me, whatever keeps them happy and she was definitely happy! She fell asleep for a little bit and then woke up happy again! Not a bad way to end the year!

Her parents are obsessed with her thighs

(or if you have grandparents like mine that spoke yiddish, “pulkes”)

so I hope they love this shot as much as I do!nap timelast shot before I left and still smiling!:)

Thank you to all my clients, friends, and family for all your support this year, I can’t wait to see what 2011 brings…

Happy New Year!
