Shira Z Photography Blog bio picture
  • Welcome to my blog! I'm Shira, I'm a wife and mom to 2 gorgeous little girls. I love to photograph spontaneous, adventurous families being carefree! I want you to let your children be themselves and have fun. Cuddle and kiss them as much as possible so I can capture the love you all have for each other!

Please take a look at around the blog and contact me with any questions.  My most recent work can be found here and on my facebook page. I'll also be posting updates, promotions, and tons of photos of my daughters :)   So feel free to check in every once in a while to see what I've been up to!  There's a comment section below each post where you can leave any questions, or thoughts on what you see. I'd love to hear from you!

I’m not going to lie. When I first started photographing Baptisms I felt a little intimidated. I had never been to any growing up so I had no idea what to expect. But, I’ve been photographing so many lately I feel like the church is my second home! lol, don’t tell my mom! Even at the Greek parties I find I’m starting to recognize the songs and I really love them, they are so much fun!

I’ve been so bad about keeping up with my blog and there are a bunch of Baptisms I’ve been meaning to post so I am cheating and doing one big post:)

a little doll! She has 4 big brothers!! She is one lucky girl.

Twins!

I always love the getting ready photos…

As you can see this one was from back in the Fall… Another gorgeous little girl who I was lucky enough to photograph twice now. You can check out her newborn photos here.I also photographed this sweetie’s newborn photos about a year ago, you can see those photos by clicking here

This was my most recent Baptism. I can’t take the cuteness of her face in this photo. She was terrified of the priest, poor baby.

Daddy kisses!

I loved this session. I arrived at the house and A was fast asleep in her parents bed! Since I rarely get the chance to photograph older babies sleeping, especially a toddler, I ran to take out my camera. She looked so cute and peaceful.

I had a lot of fun with her once she woke up. Mom let me do my thing and there was no yelling for her to smile at the camera. She showed me her toys, we played, and I was able to photograph little A being herself, and thats what I love.:)

I couldn’t decide between color and black and white so here’s both!

I Can’t Wait… | Long Island Child Photographer | Shira Z Photography

For Summer!! The warmer weather is getting me all excited to start shooting outside again, run on the boardwalk, and just enjoy being outside with Talia!! We walked over to the beach the other day and she had so much fun chasing after birds, throwing sand, and looking for shells. I even took the tripod out and attempted some self timer shots so I could get one of the two of us.

If you’re interested in booking an session outdoors this summer for your child/family contact me asap because July is almost all booked up and June and August have just a few more spots availablel!

I would love an outside beach session for my children. I have 3, the ages are 5, 3, and 1. Could you give me an idea on what a session costs to see if I could even afford it? Is it alot more to have then whold family, me and my husband as well?
