Welcome to my blog! I'm Shira, and I specialize in baby, family, and children's portraits as well as weddings. I love to capture natural, real moments and emotions. I'm a mom to a gorgeous little girl and 2 dogs and I love what I do! When I'm not shooting at a park or beach, I love to photograph in my new studio space in East Rockaway NY.

Here is another awesome wedding I photographed back in November (sorry I’m still a few weddings behind on the blog). I had not seen Katina since high school back when we used to work together waitressing at Middle Bay Country Club! I was honored when she told me she followed my work and really wanted me to photograph her wedding day! It was so great to see her again and see how happy Joe makes her (and vice versa).

They got married on a beautiful Fall day! As usual I had a hard time narrowing down which images to post …

The light was so gorgeous outside the church, I really love these next few.

It was only fitting that Katina’s twin sister caught the bouquet!

This little guy was so much fun to photograph!! Such a happy 1 year old!! I’ve known his mom for a long time so it was so nice to be able to photograph them and capture this precious time. We got some great shots outside and then came into the studio for some more! I’m a little obsessed with him so this is a big share, enjoy!
